CDCH Joins Forces with Southampton Full Gospel Church to Raise Funds for the School at Mission Reach Out Haiti

On Friday, February 26th the CDCH Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) will hold it’s HOPE FOR HAITI: FAMILY BINGO NIGHT to benefit the School at Mission Reach Out Haiti (MROH). Over 900 attend the School at MROH and funds being raised at CDCH will help rebuild the school devastated in the January 12th earthquake.

MROH was founded by Pastor Donald Havrilla of Southampton Full Gospel Church and his wife Eileen in 1982.

Friday’s benefit opens at 6:30 pm for a pizza and hot dog dinner with Bingo beginning at 7. Pastor Havrilla will be in attendance and will make a brief, first-hand presentation. This event is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! Bingo cards are $1 each and there will also be a 50/50 raffle and prizes for the Bingo winners. General donations are welcome. All proceeds will benefit MROH.

Since January 12th, students at CDCH have been collecting change at home each evening and bringing it to school to donate to the Haitian school. It is estimated the children have raised $500 to date and the PTO hopes to meet or exceed the children’s fundraising efforts on Friday night. CDCH students hope to establish a “pen pal” relationship with the students at MROH to be a source of support.
